INTEGRA has introduced a new extended length GripTip pipette tip available in non-sterile, sterile, filter and Green Choice configurations.
Extended pipette tips improve access to labware
The Long GripTip is designed to work with single, eight, 12, and 16 channel Viaflo electronic pipettes and Voyager eight and 12 channel adjustable spacing electronic pipettes.
The extended length design enables easy access into labware types such as 1.5ml tubes and deep well blocks. The extended length design also reduces PCR cross contamination, says the company, as the elongated tip prevents the pipette shaft from contacting the wall of the PCR tubes.
With a volume range from 0.5ul to 12.5ul, the Long GripTip allows users to dispense a 1ul volume 12 times with a final 0.5ul dispense to improve accuracy and precision.
