COLE-Parmer says its Masterflex B/T range of peristaltic pumps are known for their rugged dependability, and now deliver higher flow rates.

New Masterflex B/T fixed-speed pumps offer flow rates up to 42lpmwhen used with B/T pump tubing. They are said to eb a good choice for transferring viscous or shear-sensitive materials.
The construction of these pumps should ensure a long service life with minimal maintenance, while the 746W (1hp) reversible motor enables it to pump fluids in either direction and easily prime or purge tubing.
The included Rapid-Load pump head allows for fast and easy tubing changes, and an interlock switch cuts power to the drive when the pump head is opened.
Other improvements include a redesigned occlusion mechanism which slides the tubing bed out of the way for easy tube loading, and an improved tubing retention mechanism which holds the tubing firmly in place to allow for a simple loading process. New tubing formulations are said to provide longer tubing life.
