Eleven laser wavelengths in a single package

AVAILABLE in free-space or fibre-coupled configurations, the new line of Excelsior One lasers from Spectra-Physics deliver eleven different wavelengths and up to 500mW of average power.

Excelsior One from Spectra-Physics produces laser from UV to NIR

These plug-and-play lasers are intended for bioinstrumentation applications including flow cytometry, confocal microscopy, and DNA sequencing.

Excelsior One continuous-wave (CW) lasers operate across the ultraviolet (UV), visible, and near-infrared (NIR) ranges and require just a single input voltage for all models. The design integrates the laser head and controller into a single, compact package for ease of integration into instrumentation.

The range includes direct diode and diode-pumped solid-state (DPSS) technology in a compact footprint with a common electronics interface. All models deliver TEM00 mode quality and very low optical noise, and DPSS models are available in single or multi-longitudinal mode versions. Direct-diode models include high speed modulation (TTL and analogue) plus an RS-232 interface.
