Integra says the Viaflo 96 facilitates the fast and precise transfer of 96 samples to and from microplates, without the cost of a fully automated liquid handling system.
The device operates much like a conventional handheld pipette, and so demands no special skills or operator training.
Pipetting heads with volumes up to 12.5ul, 125ul, 300ul, or 1250ul are available, and can be changed within a few seconds, the company says.
The Viaflo 96 is suited to the replication or reformatting of 96 and 384 well plates, and the precision transfer of reagents, compounds, and solutions to or from microplates.
