A WAY to save valuable preparation time and concentrate on more demanding operations is promised by Integrated DNA Technologies with its new ready-to-order RxnReady oligonucleotides. The mixing of oligos to create multiple primers as part of a multiplex polymerase chain reaction (PCR) is a regular job for some researchers, but one which can now be greatly reducedm it says.
Customers can specify the premixing of between two and six standard desalted DNA oligos, in a single tube, with RxnReady. A range of modifications, including 5′ amino, 5′ biotin, 5′ or internal deoxyInosine, 5′ or internal deoxyUridine, and 5′ phosphorylation can be incorporated, the company adds.
Final yields range from 5 to 50nm and can be shipped, either lyophilised (freeze-dried) or hydrated. IDT says its ISO 9001:2008 certification guarantees consistent quality, and that each oligo manufactured undergoes strict quality control by mass spectrometry.
