A NEW range of 96-well microplates from Porvair Sciences is aimed at research laboratories and diagnostic procedures. Made of Class VI crystal polystyrene, the Elisa (enzyme-linked immunsorbet assay) microplates are said to ensure excellent results with microplate readers.
This is due to the quality of the virgin plastics used, and the one-piece manufacturing process which produces what Porvair says is an exceptionally flat base with an even base thickness, giving good clarity across the well bottom. This gives high accuracy and precision when making well-to-well measurements, it says.
Porvair’s 96-well Elisa microplates are available with a choice of surface binding coatings, so that an optimised plate is available for most laboratory operations.
