MATERIALS characterisation instrument maker Malvern Instruments has opened a new applications and demonstration laboratory in Sao Paolo, Brazil.
The new laboratory, located within the existing premises of its parent company Spectris, provides support to customers and joins the group’s other particle characterisation labs in Brazil.
Equipped with a full range of instruments, the demonstration laboratory will demonstrate how Malvern instruments can be used to measure particle size and shape, zeta potential, molecular weight, size and conformation, and rheological properties and for chemical identification.
This latest move follows the opening in March 2012 of a new Malvern facility in Houston, Texas, serving customers in the USA and supporting some Latin American markets.
