FOLLOWING its acquisition by US-based laboratory supplies company Wheaton in 2009, UK company Laboratory Sales Limited (LSL) is changing its name to Wheaton.
The newly-rebranded company will continue to provide a full line of liquid handling and packaging products, and maintain stocks for the UK National Health Service, the NHS.
The new brand encompasses all the pharmaceutical, diagnostic, biotechnology, and cosmetic packaging lines from the old LSL identity, including glass and plastic labware consumables, dropper pipettes, test tubes, sample containers, and ampoules.
The rebranding exercise is supported by a new website, live from mid-November 2012, and a new Clinical Products Guide brochure. The changeover is expected to be completed by 1 January 2013.
“We acquired LSL nearly two years ago and wanted to make it easier for scientists to find our products and get the support they need,” said Wayne Brinster, president of Wheaton.
