TWIN temperature control circuits offer the security of redundancy on the newly designed Asynt hotplate stirrer. In the event of one circuit malfunctioning, the second takes over and the temperature of the sample remains uncompromised, the company says.
To launch the new product to the market, Asynt is offering substantial discounts on packages including the stirrer and associated equipment.
“The safety features make this hotplate stirrer suitable for unsupervised operation in the chemistry lab. The heating plate temperature can be adjusted between 50 and 360C, but cannot be changed accidentally, to ensure that the flashpoint is not exceeded” comments Asynt’s Dr Kerry Elgie.
The hotplate stirrer has a hermetically sealed design to protect the motor from spillages, and an aluminium hotplate for efficient heat transfer.
The package of heater stirrer, temperature sensor, electronic contact thermometer, holding rod, support rod, and boss head clamp is currently available at a 49% discount off the list price for bulk purchases (ten or more kits), while individual kits are available at 33% off.
