For the best cell growth and proliferation, scientists engaged in cell culture can choose Nunc roller bottles made of polyethylene terephthalate (PETG) or polystyrene (PS).
Nunc PETG roller bottles are characterised by rugged durability, able to withstand freezing and thawing, and are available with a smooth or pleated internal surface – the latter providing more surface area for cell growth. Nunc TufRol PS roller bottles have vertical pleats, which makes them easier to empty, and include an indention for one hand manipulation, as pictured.
When ordering bottles, customers can specify their preferred surface treatment, including poly-d-lysine for cells that are difficult to grow or vented closures to facilitate gas exchange. All Nunc bottles are manufactured in quality contolled facilities, using polymers certified USP Class VI.
